Have you ever envisioned transforming a routine meal into a memorable musical performance? I still find it hard to believe that I experienced the same thing the other night!
Pasta cravings and a little nostalgia were the beginning of it all. I was eating at a small, comfortable Italian restaurantāthe kind with red-checkered tablecloths, warm lighting, and the sound of glasses clinking mixed with the gentle murmur of conversation. The distinctive tune of the Godfather theme, āSpeak Softly, Love,ā began to play in the background at one point.
Inspired (and a little brazen), I began to sing along quietly at my table. A few people turned and smiled, and then, as if from a movie, a man on the other side of the room got up and joined in. A tenor, not just any dude. A true tenor, whose voice was so rich and strong that it immediately brought the room to a halt.
